Student Tuition - Computers

Wardlaw Surveys are pleased to announce the establishment of a Students Tuition facility for Kirkhill and the surrounding area from mid-September 2004 following the introduction of Broadband by BT. We aim to give the school leaver age students an opportunity to learn and use the internet and brush up on their computer skills to enable them to enhance their job and work prospects. We can offer one-to-one tuition to those who have either a particular learning requirement or who just want to brush up on the latest technology that employers expect job seekers to have these days. We are proposing the following:-

• One-to-one, or small groups, introduction and tutoring of web surfing
• Introduction to elementary computer skills
• Progressive modular course of selectable topics and applications
• Preparation and presentation of C.V.s
• Either daytime or evening sessions to suit individual or group requirements
• First steps in simple coding of web pages
• Use of computers with fast internet access (broadband)
• Sensible charging for our services
