D.A.A. accepts pictures in the Acorn/RISC OS SpriteFile format. To process them they must be 16 colour sprites.
Drawings can be imported into D.A.A. by scanning or otherwise digitising them, drawing them directly in a drawing package or converting them from another format.
This includes DXF format files which are popular in the CAD world. They can be converted into Draw files using !Draw or a RISC OS CAD package. These drawfiles can then be converted to Sprite files by, for example, !Draw2Spr - another Wardlaw Surveys product.
