About Wardlaw Surveys

Who are we?
We established ourselves near Inverness in 1986. Our goal was to serve local industries by supplying computer hardware and software for their specialised needs. This initial objective has grown, and we have become a supplier of all kinds of computer hardware and software to businesses, individuals and education. We became an Authorised Acorn Dealer in 1991 and a stakeholder in RISCOS Ltd at its foundation in 1998.

What do we do?
We retail, service and maintain predominantly RISC Computers and third party peripherals. With each RISC computer sold we offer comprehensive support, backup and tuition services at our base. We also offer computing services and training, and write bespoke software for PCs and RISC OS.

In addition to being an Acorn Centre of Technology, we are Authorised Installers for RISC OS4 and dealers for Iyonix and RiscStation computers, as well as the excellent Iiyama range of monitors.

Although our roots to be found in the RISC computer market, we also supply PC hardware, peripherals and software.

Service, repairs, spares and accessories?
We undertake service and repair of all types of RISC Computers and are able to supply spares and accessories for the whole RISC range.

Why the Civil Engineering services?
There is a scarcity of specific computer programs for this industry, and an ever increasing need for quicker and quicker results. We saw an opportunity to increase our efficiency particularly in the fields of estimating and quantity surveying. We have filled this requirement by authoring our own applications, including the Digital Area Analysis product.
